Pran Group is a diversified conglomerate in Bangladesh. It has been in business for over 30 years and employs more than 3,000 people. The company operates across six different sectors: automotive, textile, real estate, manufacturing, service and education. Recently it announced to re-establish its garment sector with the intention of creating 2000 jobs by 2020.
Pran Group has made many strides since starting out as a small trading company in 1984. Nowadays it is one of the largest companies in Bangladesh with an annual turnover exceeding $500 million USD (BDT 2 billion). Currently Pran Group exports to over 35 countries worldwide including Japan and China while maintaining their strong presence within Bangladesh where they are headquartered from Dhaka city.
